Not at all. Most of my clients have never done a photoshoot before. I mainly capture spontaneous moments of you enjoying the trip, and direct you only where it helps. Over two days you’ll relax naturally, and because I take hundreds of shots, we’ll always have plenty of great ones to choose from.

The whole shoot stays low-key and discreet. I can shoot on a phone, so to everyone around it just looks like a friend taking vacation photos. My professional camera is a compact setup without a huge lens, so it doesn’t draw attention either. Many clients start on the phone as a warm-up and switch to the camera once they feel confident, or stick with just one.

As an added benefit, switching between the two gives you a mix of polished and candid shots, and that variety tends to perform better on dating apps than only top-end professional. Either way, pro camera apps in RAW format keep the quality high-end.

We shoot in Mallorca partly for this reason: sunshine is the norm most of the year. Because the shoot spans two full days with a car, we have the flexibility to reschedule around a cloudy morning or move to the sunnier side of the island. Slightly overcast light can even be flattering for portraits.

You’ll look like yourself on your best day. That’s the goal. I edit for light, color, and sharpness the way any professional photographer does, but I don’t reshape faces or bodies. Photos that look artificial backfire on dating apps and on first dates; authentic, flattering photos are what actually convert matches into dates.
